Prestigious national award presented to T.V. spot featuring Dr. Nick Duesbery
Grand Rapids, MI (July 31, 2008) – Van Andel Institute (VAI) has won a Bronze 2008 Telly Award in the category of “Best Corporate Image TV” for its television commercial featuring Senior Scientific Investigator Nicholas S. Duesbery, Ph.D. The 29th Annual Telly Awards received 13,500 entries from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries.
“This is the highest standard in the industry,” said Joseph P. Gavan, Vice President of Communications and Development at VAI. “The 40 nationally recognized judges who evaluated the entries apparently agreed that our mission, Nick’s words, and the production quality of the commercial achieved our goal and qualified us for this national award.”
The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and work created for the Web.
